Ph.D. Qualifying Exam / Candidacy Milestone: Passed the qualifying examination, also referred to in the department letter as the Basic Exam, and was confirmed eligible to proceed in the Statistics PhD program. The Department of Statistical Science also selected me for the Scheuren Award for outstanding performance on the theory exam.
